G.A. Rogers & Associates has partnered with our North Texas nonprofit client to identify a dynamic Chief Financial Officer to join their growing team!
For this role: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Chief Financial Officer (CFO) who will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and financial reporting.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, as well as a passion for our organization's mission and values.
This position can report to the Fort Worth Office or the downtown Dallas office on a hybrid scheduled (two days a week onsite).
A CPA OR Master's Degree is required for this role, along with experience working in the non-profit industry.
This role will report directly to the CEO.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and policies to ensure the financial health and sustainability of the organization- Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and cash flow management- Provide financial analysis and guidance to the executive team and the board of directors- Manage and mentor the finance team, ensuring high performance and professional development- Collaborate with external auditors, investment managers, and other financial partners- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards- Present financial reports and updates to the board of directors and other stakeholders- Attend all Board meetings and actively participate in discussions around budget, financial results and annual audit.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred- Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial management role- Strong knowledge of non-profit accounting principles and regulations- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills- Strategic thinker with the ability to drive financial initiatives and organizational growth- Proficiency in financial management software and MS Office Suite

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $100,000.00 - $135,000.00
