MoveAmerica is looking for a highly skilled Financial Analyst to provide comprehensive financial analysis and support to the DoD Office of Small Business Programs. The analyst will work closely with various DoD agencies, providing in-depth financial analysis, compliance oversight, and budget management. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial success of the defense sector.Assist with contract setup, cost analysis, and proposal preparation.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and support decision-making processes.Conduct detailed financial analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.Collaborate with OSBP and DoD agencies to develop, monitor, and manage budgets.Perform cost analysis of small business programs and contracts to identify potential cost savings.Ensure compliance with financial regulations and assist in the preparation of financial reports.Assist in conducting risk assessments and evaluating financial viability and sustainability of small businesses within the defense sector.Utilize various financial systems to carry out responsible actions while ensuring compliance with regulations.Required Qualifications:
Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or business administration.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong analytical and communication skills.Knowledge of relevant financial regulations, including FAR, DFARS, and GAAP.Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Desired Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Financial Analyst, preferably within the defense or government contracting sector.Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and financial software tools.Active Secret or Above Security Clearance.
