Assistant Manager, Distribution Center Operations

We are a growing company with high demand for our products and services, so we're adding new positions! UA Brands' global operations are supported by our high-volume warehouse/distribution center located right outside of Atlanta, Georgia in Lithia Springs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Manages and optimizes our facilities maintenance contracts, negotiates facility pricing for supplies and is responsible for operational projects.Proactively monitors and strives to maintain high levels of customer care, quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the maintenance of the facility.Proactively identifies opportunities for process improvement. Assists leadership implementing strategies and practices to ensure facility maintenance is upkept.Responsible to cover management duties for all vacant management roles in the organization.Must be available to work some weekends and holidays as business needs permit.Required Skill:

Detail oriented and can multi-task a variety of issues.Must have the ability to prioritize work and ensure that they follow the goals and directives of the company.Must be highly competent at analyzing issues, identifying root causes, developing alternative solutions and managing projects to conclusion.Strong MS Office and internet abilities.Ability to deal with various personality types, assess and move forward with a customized solution.Clear understanding of operational efficiencies and how they pertain to corporate goals.Strong management and customer relationship skills.Able to work in a highly dynamic environment with a proven ability to balance competing demands and priorities.Education:

Bachelors degree in Business Administration/Management, Logistics Management, Industrial Enginerring.Experience:

1 - 3 years relevant experience and proven success in a manager's role.1 - 3 years Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and opportunities.1 - 3 years of experience managing people and processes effectively.1 - 3 years Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as the ability to listen in order to uncover challenges that customers may be experiencing. Individual must be highly self-motivated and self-disciplined with the ability to work independently with little or no supervision.Physical Requirements:
