Description:

At Plum Market, the General Manager (GM) is considered a managing partner and oversees a restaurant unit at the OMA airport. This role involves managing day-to-day activities, ensuring operational efficiency, driving revenue growth, and leading teams to achieve company objectives. The GM serves as the primary point of contact for employees and stakeholders, ensuring that business goals are met while maintaining a positive work environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist in overseeing daily food and beverage service operations, including restaurants, bars, and kiosks.Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and food handling regulations.Monitor and maintain cleanliness, product quality, and efficiency.Ensure a high level of guest satisfaction by maintaining positive guest relations, resolving complaints, and responding to feedback promptly.Train staff to provide excellent customer service and monitor service standards.Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of food and beverage staff.Schedule shifts, manage timekeeping, and ensure proper staff coverage for peak and off-peak times.Assist in monitoring budget and controlling expenses to ensure profitability.Oversee inventory levels of food, beverages, and supplies, ensuring minimal waste and optimal stock levels.Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to adjust menus and offerings as needed.Ensure adherence to all food safety, hygiene, and liquor licensing laws.Implement and maintain all safety procedures and protocols within the food and beverage department.Build strong relationships with key customers, vendors, and business partners.Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, and ordinances.Qualifications & Experience:

2-4 years of experience in a management role, preferably in Food and Beverage or hospitalityOpen availability as business needs change.Ability to manage multiple prioritiesStrong leadership and team management skills.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of food and beverage regulations, hygiene standards, and financial management.
