Job Overview:
The Clinical Dietitian in the Woman's Health Center holds an important role in the care of women's nutritional needs.
The Clinical Dietitian will work closely with the providers and patients to develop and create customized nutritional care plans based on their health needs.
The Clinical Dietitian will follow up closely to evaluate and monitor the outcome of the care plans and provide any additional education.
TRMC Women s Health Center offers GYN services as well as Prenatal Care, OB ultrasounds, Maternal Fetal Medicine, Nutrition and Diabetes education.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor s Degree in Nutrition/Dietetics
At least 3 years experience providing nutrition services to Pediatric patients, Maternity Care patients, and Adult Medical patients
Preferred:
Master s Degree in Dietetics/human nutrition
Certifications and Licenses Required:
Registered Dietitian
Essential Functions:
Performs age-specific nutritional assessments and develops a nutritional plan
Appropriately interpret patient data and responses to diet
Interdisciplinary collaborative team approach to patient care planning
Ensures patients at nutritional risk have a timely nutritional assessment
Adapt eating
Medical/healthcare error reporting
