Responsibilities In keeping with Marian Medical Center health care philosophy, the Operating Room Clinical Nurse is an experienced practitioner who demonstrates in-depth knowledge of nursing and patient care, and has the ability to practice independently at MMC and applicable entities. The OR Clinical Nurse also serves as a resource person as well as a preceptor. Under minimal supervision, the OR Clinical Nurse identifies and implements nursing interventions for patients and evaluates the results of these interventions for a given patient population. Supports and promotes the provision of quality patient care.

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
1 year of clinical nursing experience
Associates Degree Nursing (ADN)
RN - California Registered Nurse in good standing
BLS-CPR
ACLS
PALS - within 6 months of hire
Preferred Qualifications:
2 years or greater recent periop experience as circulating and/or scrubbin RN, or clinical nursing in Tele, CCU or ED.
Experience as RN in CVOR, Ortho, Neuro, General, Robotics, GYN, Advanced Endoscopy, Hybrid procedures and urology highly preferred
BSN
CRNFA, CNOR, ATLS, ONC, CFPN, CPPS, CV-BC, and/or CCRN
Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
