Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic and Nazareth Hospital are seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join our Emergency Medicine Department located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The Emergency Department Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is a health care provider who, working collaboratively within the healthcare team, is responsible for providing care to both well and ill patients. The ED APP educates patients and/or their families in order to promote wellness, prevent health problems, maintain current health, and intervene in acute or chronic illness. The ED APP seeks opportunities for professional growth through participation in continuing education, staff development and hospital committees.
Requirements:
+ Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program with Certification.
+ License or eligible for licensing as a PA in the State of PA.
+ CPR and ACLS Certification
+ Credentialed at hospital site of practice.
+ Prior clinical experience preferred.
+
**At least 1 year in the ED or Urgent Care setting is required**
Additional requirements:
+ Extensive knowledge of physical assessment, differential diagnosis, pathophysiology, pharmacology, and management of acute and chronic patient/family problems.
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
+ Candidate must be organized and able to lead and manage a team.
+ Demonstrates ability to use problem solving, critical thinking and priority setting skills. Ability to perform diversified duties with time limitations with a high degree of accuracy.
+ Computer skills preferred.
