We are passionate about what we do while remaining true to our defining core values of: Putting People First, Doing Our Best Together, Making Therapy Fun, and Above All, We grow potential!Job DescriptionThe Occupational Therapist position is responsible for the direct implementation and collaboration of the assigned patients and will work closely with the behavior analyst to ensure that each patient in the agency receives quality therapeutic care.This role will be a Full-Time, Hybrid position supporting clients on-site at our Sugar Land, TX facility, along with system support for other locations in Oklahoma and Colorado. Perform clinical assessment; identify patient needs and appropriateness of patient.Document, prepare/revises, and complete a Plan of Care, progress notes, and other clinical record documentation on an ongoing basis.Assess and facilitate the patient's ROM, strength, coordination, need for and use of adaptive equipment and environmental modifications, functional mobility, and safety issues as related to the patient's ADL performance needs. Perform other duties as assigned.Implement, monitor, collect and evaluate data.Evaluate the efficacy of the treatmentEffective demonstration of the implementation of therapyDemonstration of professional behaviorCompetence with Crisis InterventionFacilitate effective training with parents and staff.QualificationsBachelor of Science in Occupational TherapyCurrent State License as an Occupational TherapistTwo years of direct service work in a treatment setting for patients preferredExperience working with individuals with autism preferred.Additional InformationThis is a Full-Time, hybrid role including available medical benefits, 401(k) with company match, and PTO.
