Senior Accountant
We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant with 3-5 years of experience to join the Randstad Corporate team. The ideal candidate will analyze financial statements, manage complex transactions, and drive process improvements. CPA or CPA track preferred.
What you need to bring:
Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and other issues, and work with appropriate parties to correct promptly
Review financial statements actual vs forecast and explain variances
Perform complex intercompany transactions and work with local and global partners to settle and reconcile intercompany balances
Perform complex balance sheet account reconciliations and analysis for accounts with high risk, including preparing journal entries
Review the results of assigned business areas and make necessary accounting entries; investigate and report on variances
Review billing contracts to ensure proper revenue recognition
Manage assigned rebates, and work with appropriate partners to ensure that rebates are adequately accrued and paid
Liaise with the field operations and other internal departments to answer questions and provide supporting documentation
Complete weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end close responsibilities
Assist with monthly and quarterly reporting to Holdings
Prepare analytics to better understand business results; work closely with the Finance Planning team to understand budgets and forecast and the related variances
Work with other accountants and management to lead the initiative to improve, standardize, and streamline end to end process
Use technology to streamline manual processes
Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently and meet tight deadlines
Assist in the annual audit process with external auditors
Document all existing accounting procedures and processes based on thorough understanding of areas
Assist with Ad-hoc projects as necessary
What you need to bring:
Undergraduate degree in Accounting, required
CPA license or CPA track, preferred
3-5 years of experience
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, required
Experience with JD Edwards, PeopleSoft and/or Hyperion, preferred
Proficiency using Google mail, calendaring and shared drives
Team player with the ability to maintain a positive attitude in fast-paced environment
Independent worker with strong time management skills
Ability to effectively multi-task and manage multiple projects at once
Must have strong communication skills
Strong analytical skills
Must be able to meet tight deadlines

Pay Rate: $85,100.00 - $59,755.00 Annually

Pay offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidate’s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Based on eligibility, a successful candidate’s total compensation may include a variable pay plan including bonus(es) and/or commission(s). In setting compensation, Randstad complies with all local wage and hour laws and while the pay range listed above is an annual amount, non-exempt employees will be paid hourly and therefore receive the hourly equivalent.
