Job Description:
SUMMARY
The Route Technician is responsible for delivering and picking up cassettes at customer locations and ensuring smooth customer transactions. The route positions require the enforcement of rules to protect the employees and customers, as well as the safety of persons in the vehicle and at the location of our customers.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDeliver, pick up, and reconcile cassettes at customer locationsCollect CAD and MAD cash cans or replenish redemption terminal cassettes (based on daily needs or as supervisor requests)Complete paperwork and follow established proceduresRemain alert and always prepared, follow established safety and security protocols, and watch for the accidental mishandling of packages that might result in a lossReconcile customer deposits and receipts of all valuables handled throughout the daily scheduled runOther duties as assignedReplenish ATMSsQUALIFICATIONS
Valid driver's license and maintenance of a satisfactory driving recordExcellent ethics, integrity, attention to detail, and customer serviceAbility to work independently and as a member of a teamMaintain professional demeanorMinimum of 21 years of agePHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
Frequently required to stand, sit, walk, talk, and hearContinually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity, including calculating figures and amounts and use of a keyboardFrequently required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, or crawlOccasionally required to lift/push weights up to 50 poundsSpecific vision abilities required for this job include close, distance, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust or focusProtective clothing or equipment is required that may include gloves, helmets, steel-toed boots, and/or protective eyewearExposure to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditionsNoise level in the work environment is usually moderate
