Duties & Responsibilities

Provide leadership and oversight for a variety of projects, while working closely with clients.Prepare project schedule(s)Review project drawings and specificationsCoordinate with the project development team to develop the architecture, interior design, and construction specificationsDevelop construction estimatesReview budget information while meeting targeted budget goalsConduct project kick-off meetings with VP of Construction and project teamCoordinate materials for project through suppliersMonitor expenditures, identifying variances between estimated budget and revenue and implement corrective actionsCoordinate with the production team to ensure projects are completed from start to finish in a timely and efficient mannerDecision making responsibility concerning project cost, time, methods and performanceAccountability for contract administration, execution, job cost tracking, billing, change order control system, claims, and job closeoutParticipate in company project management meetings reviewing performanceQualifications & Requirements

Must have strong communication and organizational skillsAble to demonstrate experience in estimating, scheduling, and an ability to manage project team members with emphasis on high standards of quality and professionalism.Can demonstrate experience and a history of completed projects in all areas of tenant improvements and building renovations.Minimum 3+ years experience as a Construction Project Manager with a specific project history of tenant improvement work in Class A office buildings and exterior building modifications.Project estimating experience is requiredProficient in MS Office Suite, MS Project and BlueBeamExperience working with software systems specific to construction and/or accounting processes are preferred.BA/BS degree preferred, but not requiredDemonstrated ability to be a collaborative team leader and independent thinkerProven track record with maintaining and building new client relationshipsStrong communication and organizational skillsValid California Class C driver's license and current automobile insurance required
