Overview

The Bus Shuttle Driver operates on the airfield and is used to transport passengers due to emergent issues or non-gated planes. This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company. All drivers must have current GEORGIA CDL (Class A or B) along with "Passenger" AND "Air Brake" endorsement. (CDL-Permit, not accepted) Current DOT Physical

Position Summary Details:

The Bus Shuttle Driver operates on the airfield and is used to transport passengers due to emergent issues or non-gated planes.

Essential Functions:

Always communicate professionally with guests, clients, and teammates.

Employee is responsible for operating an assigned shuttle bus on a designated transportation route located on the airfield.

Establishes and maintains effective communication and working relationships with the Tower via 2-way radio.

Complies with all safety, security, compliance, and safety standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities.

Employee is responsible for operating an assigned shuttle bus on a designated route.

Performs before/during/after, operator level operations and safety equipment checks/inspections.

Ensures bus is fueled to conduct daily operations.

Performs other duties as assigned to meet organizational/operational objectives.

Job duties and responsibilities may change due to contractual requirements.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Drivers work mostly outside and operate vehicles in all kinds of weather in a controlled traffic environment.

Demonstrates professionalism, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.

CERTIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Valid State Commercial Driver’s License Class A or B with a Passenger endorsement

Current Medical Examiner’s certificate

Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check.

Must be able to pass a pre-employment and DOT medical/drug screening.

EXPERIENCE:

Must have at least two years of commercial driving experience. All drivers must have current GEORGIA CDL (Class A or B) along with "Passenger" and Current DOT Physical
