Position Summary:
Catalent Pharma Solutions in Somerset, NJ is hiring a Master Scheduler for the Supply Chain Department. The Supply Chain Department is responsible for providing leadership and support to the Catalent Somerset site. The Department has the responsibility for planning, procurement, scheduling, capacity planning, materials management and logistics. The primary responsibilities of this position include overseeing all tasks associated with the development and maintenance of both the Master Schedule and the short-term production schedule for Commercial and Development product portfolio. This position will also work to level load the production schedule to ensure that the production plan will be met.
This is a full-time position: Monday – Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM

The Role
Partner with Production Planner and Project Managers to understand client and project demand and translate requirements into long range master schedule
Work with the Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Validation, Engineering, Document Control, Project Management, and the Supply Chain Management team to develop the weekly shop floor schedule and rolling quarter production plan
Monitor daily shop floor conditions and perform updates to schedule as needed, as well as communicate schedule changes to Operations, Raw Materials, QA, Warehouse, other departments, and escalate to SLT as needed
Schedule Support Group activities that impact production
Assist in facilitation of Daily Operations Stand Up Meeting
Work with Operations, Supply Chain, and the Production Planner to review and revise rough cut capacity requirements
Participate in S&OP monthly process and help facilitate the monthly Capacity Review
Participate in all pre-launch activities as they relate to scheduling requirements.
Work with Operations Personnel, Production Planner and Projects Managers to schedule capacity, equipment, and line personnel.

The Candidate
High School Diploma or GED is required; Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred
In lieu of Bachelor’s degree 5 or more years of scheduling or planning experience and 7 years total relevant experience will be considered
3 or more years of GMP Operational or Pharmaceutical Manufacturing scheduling experience required
Experience with Finite Planning techniques and systems is required
Must be able to demonstrate diplomatic skills and prioritize work accordingly
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from peers and management is required
Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines is required
Must possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift 0-15 pounds;
