Service Delivery Center – FSRT Platforms – Manager: Primary location for this role is in TX.

EY is the only professional services firm with a separate business unit (“FSO”) that is dedicated to the financial services marketplace. Our FSO teams have been at the forefront of every event that has reshaped and redefined the financial services industry. This practice also has several Service Delivery Centres that are made up of high-performing US-based resources who work closely with our experienced client serving professionals to deliver project-based work and managed services to our US-based Financial Services clients. The opportunity

We help leading financial institutions in the world stay ahead of key regulatory requirements in the Banking and Capital Markets, Asset Management, Insurance and Private Equity spaces and provide integrated advisory, assurance, tax and transaction services. As a member of the Financial Services Risk Transformation (FSRT) - team you’ll assist global financial services firms with technology improvement in a broad range of regulatory compliance areas. You’ll be assisting initiatives that provide strategic enhancement of IT systems or operational processes supporting financial crimes risk management. You’ll be in a client serving role focused on delivery of regulatory remediation, process and technology improvement, and delivering insights to our clients through enabling technologies in anti-money laundering (AML), sanctions, and fraud.

Your key responsibilities

Responsible for the effective management and delivery of one or more processes, solutions and/or projects, ensuring a focus on quality and effective risk management.

Responsible for continuous process improvement, the identification of innovative solutions through research and analysis, insight and experience of best practices.

May manage professional employees or supervise others to deliver complex technical initiatives, with accountability for performance and results

Applies depth of expertise to guide others and interprets internal / external issues to recommend quality solutions

Meets performance objectives and metrics set locally (client service, quality and risk management, sales and business growth, solution development and teaming etc.)

Identifies and defines user / customer requirements and focuses on developing user interface (UI) in mobile, web, tablets etc., using standard tools and frameworks in an agile fashion

Focuses on developing software components and services which interact with the upstream and downstream components Codes, programs and creates specifications to deliver development services that support business requirements

Skills and attributes for success

Working on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors

Exercising judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results

Working under only general supervision; work is reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy.

Participating in determining objectives of assignment. Plans schedules and arranges own activities in accomplishing objectives. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.

Providing direction to others to complete tasks

Providing feedback to others (at lower rank) on the job and through formal assessments

To qualify for the role, you must have.

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) required

At least 6 years of work experience each of the following areas:

Proven experience in leading technology implementations at a data lead or architect level overseeing delivery process.

Proven experience with defining, analysing, and mapping technology business requirements.

Data analysis or exploration using structured (Relational) or unstructured databases.

Developing and managing ETL pipelines or workflows and mapping of source-to-target data schemas.

Developing data models, expertise in query optimization and data model optimization techniques.

Expertise with establishing ETL workflows or data pipelines any cloud-based platforms such as Azure, Google Cloud, or AWS.

At least 5 years of experience working on one or combination of the following areas:

Proficiency in Git integration and version control systems

Conducting quality assurance and testing

Integrating systems and technologies

Engaging in software development

Implementing Agile methodologies for delivery and development

Integrating applications

Good written and verbal communication skills

A willingness and ability to travel at 0%-25%

Additionally, experience in one or combination of the following areas is preferred:

One of the programming languages, including but not limited to Python and/or Java.

Data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI etc.

ETL tools like Informatica, Alteryx and data analytical tools such as R

Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Transaction Monitoring rules, customer segmentation, threshold setting, and optimization strategies.

What we offer

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $85,700 to $195,800. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $102,900 to $222,500. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances.
