The group's primary responsibility is to ensure that the client's futures and swaps settlement figures are accurate each day. This entails the resolution of all trade breaks, the monitoring of all cash activity in the account and ensuring that the account is fully margined. The business is volume driven so having exceptional organizational skills is a plus. Qualified applicants must be adaptable to change, as some days will require you to work on many different jobs at once. The emphasis of the team is to be a Relationship Manager and provide superior service to the client base.
Primary Responsibilities:-Communication with brokers, internal and external clients.-Provide clearing services to selected clients.-Process trade files and ensure all margin calls are issued by EOD.-Ensure successful and timely margining process for all Derivatives related Trades.-Mitigate daily risk by connecting with clients to request their margin and settlement intentions and monitoring aging margin fails to ensure regulatory compliance.-Resolution of trade and position breaks facing the various Derivatives exchanges.-Managing top-day trade margin calls, partnering with the Projects team with respect to testing, documentation, QA validation as well as interfacing with internal and external constituents to manage execution-only trade flow.
Qualifications:-Excellent communication skills with peers and stakeholders-Must have ability to work under a deadline-driven environment and prioritize accordingly-Results orientated mentality-Proven ability to build credibility and strong relationships-Experience in external client interaction-Must have strong problem-Solving skills and attention to detail
