Help us drive energy transformation on a production basis, performing moderate mechanical assembly work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Assembling structures according to engineering specifications, utilizing hand tools and portable power tools.

We are looking for an ambitious and driven colleague that wants to work closely with our local operations team.

Job Summary: You will work directly with our customers to solve problems and the ability to develop strong product knowledge and to work with customers at a variety of levels. The Field Service Manager directs all activities of the field service personnel including warranty repairs and service work. Develop quotes for critical repairs such as post-accident inspections and repairs. Cultivate and grow additional authorized service providers to expand the FleetCare service network. Responsible for developing new service products, which may include preventative maintenance programs, service contract, and the reason for such programs. Collaborate with engineering and sales to develop new product solutions to repair, replace, or upfit existing product as needed. Coordinate service through existing and new service agreements. This is a demanding position that requires someone that has strong compressed natural gas system (CNG) product knowledge, good customer relations, and wants to make a difference.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Up to 25% travel may be required

Oversee aspects of the FleetCare Service – P&L, customer & supplier interactions, personnel management, safety.

Works directly with customers to solve problems, and is available to field call take calls at all times on critical issues and emergency situations

Must know and understand currently fielded products – tanks, plumbing, trailers

Develop service contracts and agreements with 3rd party authorized service providers and customers

Maintain the relationship and coordinate activities.

Supervise service and warranty work in in the Eastern United States and Canada

Approves purchase Orders and other applicable documentation requiring approval of management to support FleetCare Service budget

Ensures company policies, work rules, safety, and processes are adhered to by all HTS personal

Lead all field service technicians to ensure customer repairs are handled in a timely manner

Other duties as assigned

Education:

Associates Degree in Automotive Technology or Equivalent field experience

More than 5 years of hands on Technical/Troubleshooting experience.

3-5 years of prior managerial/supervisory experience required.

Working knowledge of high-pressure equipment, hazards and protocols preferred.

Experience/Knowledge:

CNG product knowledge preferred.

Proficiency in communication both internally and with customers required

Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial business work setting is preferred

Working with an ISO 9001 Quality Management System is preferred

Skills:

Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy is required

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required

Able to achieve planned results by applying effective organization, prioritization, and communication skills within a team environment. This includes recognizing internal customer expectations and planning schedules/priorities accordingly

Ability to optimally connect with all levels of employees and customers in a courteous and professional manner

Ability to work independently, with minimal oversite, and work on multiple projects simultaneously

Technical Proficiency:

Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required; advance level preferred

Intermediate knowledge of MS Outlook, SharePoint/One-Drive, and scheduling functionality required
