Register Nurse
to support our
Oncology Department
at Rust Medical Center .
The
RN
is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide direct patient care for patients who have cancer and for those undergoing treatment. Deliver chemo/bio products and education to cancer patient population. Responsible for prioritizing the delivery of direct nursing care using time and resources efficiently integrating a standards-based framework model.Qualifications
Credentials:Registered Nurse
( RN ) -
State of New Mexico
or
Compact State Nursing License
required.
BLS certification required at time of hire.Must maintain chemotherapy/biotherapy/immunotherapy provider certification during employment in Oncology department.*Chemotherapy/Biotherapy/Immunotherapy provider certification required within 1 month of hire*National Oncology Certification required to be obtained within 2-3 years of hire.*Maintain educational requirements as per standards related to national oncology accreditations upheld by Cancer Care Services.Preference:*2 years medical surgical or ICU nursing experience*Experience in Oncology or Infusion centers preferred.Education:
