Position Overview
Our client, a rapidly growing company in the
construction industry
in the
Seattle Metro Area , is seeking a
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
to lead all financial operations. The CFO will play a critical role in shaping the company's financial strategy, driving business growth, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing relationships with key stakeholders. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the construction industry, along with a track record of building and leading high-performance finance teams. The candidate will be required to work
on-site 5 days a week .
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of the company's
financial strategy , aligning it with overall business goals.Oversee all aspects of
financial operations , including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.Ensure compliance with
GAAP
and other regulatory requirements, maintaining strong internal controls.Provide strategic financial insights to the CEO and senior leadership team to guide
business decisions
and drive company growth.Manage
cash flow , working capital, and capital expenditures to ensure the company's financial stability and growth.Oversee
M&A activities , including financial due diligence, integration planning, and post-acquisition financial strategy.Collaborate with key stakeholders to manage financial relationships, including banks, investors, and external auditors.Optimize financial processes and systems to enhance
operational efficiency
and improve reporting accuracy.Lead the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.Support the company's
expansion initiatives , including new market entry and large-scale construction projects.Qualifications
Proven experience as a
CFO
or senior financial executive, ideally within the
construction industry
or a similar field.Expertise in
financial strategy , budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.Strong knowledge of
GAAP , financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.Experience in managing
M&A activities , including financial due diligence and post-merger integration.Exceptional
leadership and communication skills , with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and executive leadership.Experience in
construction project financial management
is highly preferred.Bachelor's degree
in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.Compensation and Benefits
Base salary ranging from
$250,000 to $285,000
per year, depending on experience.Performance-based bonus
