Job SummaryAs a Junior Floor Technician with City Wide Facility Solutions, you'll contribute to our client's clean, safe, and welcoming environments. Working closely with a dedicated team, you'll assist in maintaining high standards of floor care and facility upkeep. This hands-on role provides opportunities for growth within the Operations and Facilities Maintenance department.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine floor care tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, stripping, waxing, buffing, and polishing as directed.Clean windows are part of floor care responsibilities.Identify floor types and apply appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment.Assist in setting up and breaking down floor care equipment (e.g., buffers, burnishers, scrubbers).Adhere to company and OSHA safety guidelines when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.Support senior floor technicians with additional cleaning and maintenance tasks.Monitor and report minor equipment issues or necessary repairs.Pick up and drop off equipment, supplies, and chemicals as needed.Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring proper storage of tools and materials.RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Basic knowledge of cleaning and maintenance practices (preferred, optional).Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform routine physical tasks.Flexibility to work early mornings, nights, or weekends as needed.Ability to follow instructions, communicate effectively, and work well in a team.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality service.Ability to document work through cell phone photos.BenefitsHealth Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)Retirement Plan (401K, IRA)Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D)Paid Time Off (Vacation & National Holidays)Training & Development OpportunitiesDisclaimer:This job description outlines the essential functions and primary responsibilities of the role, but it is not exhaustive.
