Responsibilities & Qualifications
The
Senior Financial Analyst
will report to the Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis and partner with the Company's business unit leadership to support financial and operational matters, including analysis and recommendations, reporting and planning.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, In-Office, 8:00AM to 5:00PM
RESPONSIBILITIES:Deliver timely and accurate financial information to support management decision making and operational improvementsPerform financial analysis of monthly, quarterly and YTD performance against budget and prior year results including engagement with key stakeholdersAnalyze customer level profitability by business segment while evaluating areas of opportunity and proposing recommendations to LeadershipIdentify, develop, and implement tools and reports to provide critical financial and operational information/KPIs to the Senior Leadership Team; make actionable recommendations on both strategic and tactical mattersBuild detailed financial models to assess performance, identify growth opportunities, productivity improvements and forecast future resultsSupport the annual planning process, ensuring accuracy and assist with subsequent actual vs budget variance analysisDevelop management reporting tools, summaries, and analyses in support of both the annual operating plan and strategic business initiativesEstablish (and document) processes and analyses which enable the company to assess realization of prior business case projections (e.g., CapEx projects, strategic investments, other initiatives, etc.)MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required.MBA or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business related field strongly preferred.Minimum 4 years' experience in financial reporting, analysis and budgeting/forecasting with at least 2 years in a Corporate or Divisional HQ environment required.Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and public accounting experience are both strongly preferred.Strong accounting and financial modeling knowledge and experience, including reasonable familiarity and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and ability to understand/interpret financial statementsPrior experience with SQL and Oracle ERP/EPM strongly preferredAbility to think both analytically and creatively, high level organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to analyze large data sets and summarize into actionable insightsDemonstrated self-starter, able to work effectively both independently and in a heavily team-oriented environmentAbility to communicate and present information effectively to senior management and other stakeholders (written, orally and via presentation materials)Solid PC skills, including advanced capabilities with respect to Excel and PowerPointCompany Values & Benefits
