Temp-to-Hire

Shift: 7:00am-3:30pm M-F

Starting Pay Range: $28.00-$32.00 (depending on experience)

Description:

The company is currently looking for a talented Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician to join their manufacturing team. This role requires an understanding of technical drawings and blueprints to assemble complex wiring harnesses, as well as the ability to use hand tools in the assembly of larger mechanical components in both the prebuild and final assembly stage of the manufacturing process. Candidates should possess a strong ability to assemble, test, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Mechanical Assembler Responsibilities:Read and Interpret Technical Documentation:

Understand and follow detailed drawings, blueprints, and wiring diagrams to accurately assemble components.Assemble Wiring Harnesses:

Construct wiring harnesses in line with diagrams, ensuring proper continuity and adherence to specifications.Hand and Power Tools Usage:

Utilize an assortment of hand and power tools in the assembly process, ensuring safe and efficient construction of components.Final Assembly:

Assemble parts, wires, hoses, and hydraulics during the final assembly stage, ensuring all components are correctly and securely fitted.Troubleshooting:

Troubleshoot and repair with guidance mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in components and final products.Testing and Quality Assurance:

Conduct functionality and continuity tests on completed assemblies. Perform full function tests on finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.System Adjustments and Repairs:

Troubleshoot systems as needed, making necessary adjustments or repairs to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.Minimum Qualifications:

Experience:

Minimum of 4+ years in a manufacturing assembly environment, with hands-on experience working with hydraulic equipment and electrical/control wiring.Technical Proficiency:

Must be proficient in reading and interpreting drawings and blueprints.Measurement Skills : Must be able to use and accurately read various measurement tools, including Tape measures, calipers, micrometers, pressure gauges, and multimeters.Physical Requirements:

Capable of lifting at least 50 lbs.Screening:

Must pass a drug screening and background check.Additional Skills needed:

Experienced Millwright a plusKnow how to set and use a Torque wrenchKnow how to read a dial indicator for setting specific tolerances with gears settings.Understanding continuity in electrical componentsUnderstanding flow and pressure with hydraulic systemsExperience bending steel hydraulic tubing a plusTool Requirement:

Employee must provide their personal set of tools.
