The Role:

The Cost Senior Accountant works in concert with Operations to validate the accuracy and valuation of inventory, to identify and resolve internal control weaknesses and to improve the efficiency of the inventory accounting process. The role will be heavily involved with improving current processes, analysis, interpretation, and reporting of cost and inventory data. This position has a wide range of responsibility and high exposure to various departments of the company.

What You Will Do: .

Participates in the month-end close process to ensure financial statements are prepared accurately.Prepares journal entries, monthly account reconciliations, and other monthly financial statements.Assists in research and resolves reconciliation variances in financial statements.Analyzes and evaluates current working procedures to identify best practices.Develops project plans, determines deliverables, and executes small-scale project rollouts.Assists leadership in implementation and roll-outs of large-scale projects and carries out other special projects as required.Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant information to direct leader.Upholds the security and confidentiality of documents and data within area of responsibility.Other duties as assigned.What You Will Bring:
