Position Purpose:

The Senior Analyst is part of the IX Strategy team within the Online organization. This team plays a key role in shaping and executing Home Depot's Online strategy. They will support the development and maintenance of operational processes and frameworks that drive strategic planning and align key stakeholders through effective collaboration and communication. By working closely with internal partners to identify pain points and synthesize deliverables, the Senior Analyst will help craft compelling narratives that clearly communicate the Online strategy to leadership and broader audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

50% Planning Process: Supports the strategic and operational planning cycle through building models, performing business analysis and benchmarking studies. Works closely with the business to help communicate the strategy and planning outcomes.

40% Strategic Projects: Analyzes business problems, structures the issue and performs analyses. Synthesizes data to help develop a solution, creates documents communicating solution using structured communications principles, helps present solution to team and stakeholders, and works with stakeholders to implement the solution.

10% Competitive and Market Intelligence: Perform research on key competitors and market trends; own regular reporting on one or more data sources

Direct Manager/Direct Reports:

Reports to a Manager, or Director of Business Ops & Strategy.

This role had no direct reports.

Travel Requirements:

Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Physical Requirements:

Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Working Conditions:

Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be eighteen years of age or older.

Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

Background in strategic planning, business analysis, or a related role within the retail or e-commerce industry

Experience in preparation of visual presentation materials (specifically PowerPoint)

Familiarity with Product Management principles

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present strategic recommendations and insights to senior leadership

Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and varying levels of leadership

Ability to thrive in an evolving environment, embracing change and navigating complexity to make informed decisions

Minimum Education:

The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
