MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
Team facilitation and Management :Secures compliance of its team to the Alstom code of EthicsEnsure team animation in close link with Cluster/ Country Procurement DirectorsManage and develop procurement manager, Procurement Project Manager (PPM), Procurement Tender Manager (PTM), senior Buyer and BuyerMotivate, inspire and continuously develop his team in a multicultural interface to improve competenciesClose link with Global Procurement (Commodity Manager (CM), Domain Director (DD)) to deploy Global strategies and have synergiesWelcome the new resources, manages their local integration, and is responsible for their coaching by their senior colleaguesApplies & support Alstom Transport Procurement rules, process & toolsManagement of its cost center, ensure the adequate sizing of his/her organization according to the business needs
Procurement performance :Applies & support Alstom Procurement Golden rules, process & toolsBring Procurement expertise to support local buyer teamChallenge global sourcing (Commodity Manager (CM) / Commodity Director (CD) to secure project execution and profitability in escalation phaseDrive continuous improvement within whole local buyer team through APSYS ProcurementManage Supplier Local QCD performancesPerform regular (min. Monthly) supplier QCD performance, solves major issues and secure objectives achievement
Project execution and profitability:Support local team to face commercial and contractual negotiation during project execution phaseChallenge site stakeholders (engineering, supply chain, quality...) to secure project execution and profitabilityTrack procurement performance in project and issue action plan in case of deviationAnalyses risks and sets appropriate mitigation planFormalize and share return on experience on main issues
Operational excellence & Cash focus:Support supply chain to monitor and secure raw material inventory and OTIF objectivesSupport quality on Non-Conformities Report (NCR) treatment and improvement, Cost of Non-Quality (CONQ) S1 managementSupport accounting department to align on invoice accounting and payable daysParticipate actively on industrial continuous improvement
Performance measurements:Savings (actions aiming at securing and improving gross margin)Non-Conformities Report and On Time Delivery / CONQ S1 & coverage from ProcurementLaunch Gate Review (LGR) and Specification Gate Review (SGR) on timeFirst Article Inspection (FAI) on time (RS&C)Tender ambition tracking (ASIP) & Sourcing action plan tracking from SPR including claims and ambition coveringPurchase Order (PO) Go on timeAPSYS Procurement maturity roadmap improvement
MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCES
Educational RequirementsBusiness School or Engineering school and MASTER in Purchasing
Experience10 years of experience with a previous experience in commodity managementProcurement professional backgroundStrong Management experience (5 to 10 years) of multicultural teamsStrong Technical knowledge of the commodity and supplier market expert in the commodity
