We are seeking a
Master Scheduler
to oversee production scheduling in our Minnesota facilities. This on-site position is based in Roseville,
MN . The Master Scheduler will closely coordinate with the purchasing team to provide visibility for future production so they can bring in materials at the proper time. This person will collaborate closely with the logistics teams to efficiently move materials in and out of the facility.

Production Scheduling : Create and sustain production schedules to meet customer demand, supporting both manufacturing and internal/external clients.Policy Development : Establish, update, and communicate policies, procedures, and operating guidelines for planning, scheduling, and sequencing across all operations.Material Monitoring : Track Planned Material Requirements to identify supply shortages and prevent unnecessary inventory overbuilding.ERP Management : Oversee the production supply and demand streams within the ERP system.Priority Setting : Assist operations in establishing and managing production priorities to ensure high customer satisfaction and timely deliveries.Approval Authority : Maintain authority over expedited requests, changes, and updates to production plans to uphold customer commitments.Capacity Management : Ensure production levels align with capacity, allocations, and budgetary guidelines.Plan Implementation : Develop and uphold production plans based on established planning and sequencing rules.Qualifications
Experience : 5 to 10 years in production planning and inventory management preferred.Technical Skills : Proficient in MRP and scheduling software with a focus on speed, accuracy, and attention to detail. Expertise in load leveling, expediting techniques, inventory management, and lean Kanban practices is essential.Industry Knowledge : Familiarity with Epicor Kinetic ERP Platform is advantageous, along with experience in manufacturing settings and sheet metal fabrication.Problem Solving : Strong skills in problem solving, time management, and multitasking, along with proficient computer skills.Communication : Energetic, positive attitude with excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, Production, and possibly customers.Production Scheduling : Ability to create and adjust production schedules in response to material availability, equipment failures, alternate routings, fluctuating customer demands, quality/rework requirements, and other variablesCost Management : Demonstrated ability to focus on minimizing production costs through efficient job sequencing, batch sizing, load leveling, minimizing setup costs, effective capacity planning, and optimizing inventory turnover.
