Our team is growing, and we are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this opportunity at NDX Davis Dental Laboratory in Wyoming, Michigan for an On-Call Delivery Driver.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions of the Position

Creates and follows the most efficient routes for delivering goods, and sorts items to be delivered according to the delivery route.

Loads bags, containers, and/or vehicles with items to be delivered, and ensures they are loaded correctly.

May service vehicle driven, such as checking fluid levels and replenishing fuel.

Provide daily pick-up and delivery of products as requested or assigned.

Represent National Dentex Laboratories to all customers with courtesy, respect and focus in exceeding their expectations.

Maintain an excellent driving record, observing all rules of the road and proper safety at all times.

Actively participate and share ideas for change that will positively affect the relationship National Dentex Laboratories has with its customers.

Be the liaison between National Dentex Laboratories customers and the laboratory by informing the appropriate team member of concerns, including but not limited to observations about competitors in the market, behaviors and comments of dental teams relative to National Dentex Laboratories products and services, etc.

Follow laboratory protocols in maintaining upkeep and cleanliness of company vehicle.

Meet the needs of the customer by being flexible and receptive to changes/alterations in the delivery route.

Skills and Abilities Required:

Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English

Excellent eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity

Detail oriented

Personable individual with good oral communication skills

Acceptable driving record

Ability to deal with stressful situations caused by driving conditions and/or run schedules or changes.

Professional and neat in appearance

Customer service oriented

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent

Valid Driver’s License

Hazardous Materials or Equipment Used:

Company Vehicle

Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit for extended periods of time

Ability to lift 25lbs of dental stone
