Regional Manager, Human Resources Position Available
We are seeking a Regional Manager for our Human Resources (HR) team. This role is integral to our business operations, providing professional-level human resource support in performance management, conflict resolution, and serving as a management advisor coach and employee advocate. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with all Employment Laws (federal, state, and municipal) within their assigned region.
Responsibilities:
Collaborates with managers on employee relations issues and ADA accommodations for employees, including coaching, feedback, and assistance with performance improvement plans and/or termination recommendations, ensuring due diligence given to risk factors; and conducts investigations as needed.
Manage the exit interview process for departing employees, partners with HR department to gather information related to reason(s) for leaving. Identifies trends and concerns for escalated review and action; follows up with internal stakeholders.
Assist managers with the annual performance review process, ensuring consistency with ratings and known performance issues.
Advise and supports the Regional VPs and/or corporate executives in overall management and administration of the HR function to employees in order to deliver an excellent resident experience and maximize financial profitability. Utilizes best practices, external HR resources, and industry trends to inform consultative approach.
Collaborates and coordinates with Corporate HR Shared Services to serve as the “voice of the business/employees” in the development, implementation, measurement, and evaluation of broad-based HR initiatives.
Executes on delivery of company communication and content, including newsletters, benefits information, safety reminders, policy reinforcement, and available resources for assigned districts and regions.
Serve as a Corporate culture ambassador to maintain a positive, inclusive work environment.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field required.
A minimum of three years of progressively responsible Human Resources experience in a generalist capacity.
A minimum of two years of supervisory experience, managing direct reports required.
Professional Certification: PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification is preferred.
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Visio required.
Knowledge of multi-state Employment Laws.
Ability to travel at least 30%
