.Responsibilities
Carries a caseload, of clients or families and/or facilitate therapy groups, dependent upon the needs of the program or to fill a clinical position vacancy.Provide training, support and supervision to clinicians and milieu staff as needed.Act as Interim Clinical Director in the absence of the Clinical Director.Assist with Admissions by conducting face-to-face clinical assessments, risks assessments, and developing initial safety plans.May assign caseloads or facilitate treatment team and/or clinical group supervision as needed.Conduct peer reviews as required by the Utilization Review department.Conduct weekly audit of medical records to ensure quality and timely submission of clinical documentation and coordination of treatment planning. Address deficiencies when identified.Intervene and assist as needed, with clients and/or families in crises prevention and interventionParticipate in on-call rotation as a back-up for on-call clinicians for clinical emergency and consultationCoordinate treatment including discharge planning with the treatment teamAttend and participate in meetings as an interdisciplinary team member.Assist with implementation of policies and procedures and monitor program to ensure compliance with state licensing and accreditation requirements.Facilitate development of systems to ensure effective and efficient inter-departmental communication.Review staff communication and shift report for treatment implications and intervene as needed.Conduct facility tours and represent Newport Healthcare at company-sponsored or community events.Qualifications
Education and Experience:Master's Degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field required from an accredited or state approved graduate school. Doctorate degree preferred.Licensed as a Marriage Family Therapist, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Clinical Psychologist is required in the state in which you are applying.Minimum three years' experience working with adolescents and familiesTraining or experience in trauma-informed treatment preferred.Willingness to be trained in Attachment Based Family Therapy required.
Compensation for this role ranges from $100,367- $133,000 per year depending on education and experience.
