Job Description:
F-35 Scheduler will interface with the registrar, F-35B flying training squadron and the F-35 training team to facilitate student throughput. Scheduler will utilize the F-35B Training and Readiness (T&R) Manual and coordinate within the training system to schedule students and resources, including classroom, pilot training devices, aircraft and flight instructors. Tasks include data and syllabus processing, tracking, documenting, scheduling and generating routine reports to include daily/weekly/monthly metrics. Scheduler will also plan and coordinate airspace and ranges available to facilitate F-35 pilot training. The successful candidate will work closely with other members of the training team to fulfill F-35 training objectives. The successful candidate will implement, and support F-35 Program initiatives, programs and policies as directed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Scheduler will flow the monthly and weekly schedules and develop syllabus scheduling shells in support of student throughput.Will be proficient and knowledgeable with Standard Operating Procedures as well as applicable safety and scheduling publications.Will be assigned to duties in the squadron scheduling department and will be prepared to assume duties in the Pilot Training Center.Will build Daily and Future Ops schedules.Must be willing to work a flexible schedule to meet customer requirements.Must be proficient in the content and use of the F-35B T&R Manual and local computerized scheduling programs, provide training, orientation and assistance to newly hired personnel as required.Coordinate allocation of range and airspace time with appropriate agencies.Additional duties and related responsibilities will be assigned as required.Qualifications and Education
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Candidate must meet the following basic requirements:
Must be willing to support flexible work hours to align with customer operational schedulePosition may require candidate to participate in deployed operations to support customer requirementsStrong, proven verbal communication skillsBasic MS Office suite skillsEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS
This position is located at a facility that will require special access clearance
Must have an active secret clearance with a completed investigation within the last 6 yearsMust be a US citizenMust be able to attain and maintain F-35 Special Access Program (SAP) accessCandidates must have a final/transferable DoD Secret security clearance
