Responsibilities
ResponsibilitiesResponsible for daily patient care and personnel activities on an assigned shiftResponsible for the delivery of nursing care related to the care of the geriatric, adult, adolescent, pediatric and neonatal patientsInterprets the Philosophy and Objectives of the Nursing Department, together with the NCC and members of Nursing Department and Hospital ManagementCoordinates unit activities for a given shift, by facilitating a stable and organized work environment through leadership, direction and delegation to provide and maintain quality nursing careCoordinates and supervises in the interest of the Hospital, unit personnel activities on assigned shifts by promoting staff growth and development, participating in the evaluation process and counseling procedures, and determining and effectuating management decisions with respect to hiring, discipline, evaluations of performance and the direction and assignment of staffDemonstrates educational and experimental qualifications in nursing practice; demonstrates the ability to guide, direct and influence the value and behavior of othersEnhances staff development through facilitation of the orientation process, involvement in staff meetings and as a direct resource personRequirements
BSN required2-3 yrs critical care experience requiredMinimally one year related clinical experience requiredManagement experience preferredRN Licensed professional nurse in the State of New YorkACLS and BLS certified from the American Heart AssociationMicrosoft Word and ExcelCompetent in data collection and analysis and the application of statistical tools
Pay Range
USD $59.04 - USD $85.92 /Hr.

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
