THE POSITION
Are you a hard working team player that has the ability to multi-task? The Bucks County Housing Authority is looking for a dependable Property Manager to join our team of professionals. This position gives you the opportunity to utilize your experience to help provide, safe, decent, and affordable housing for low-income families, senior citizens, and disabled residents. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Property Manager, you will be managing low rent public housing for Shadywood Village, Sellersville Heights, and Sellersville Court. You will be responsible for keeping accurate, detailed records of all rental account transactions so that the current status of each account can be checked at any time. Work involves supervising the maintenance operations including the receiving of maintenance requests from tenants; overseeing the assignment of work to authority personnel; scheduling preventative maintenance; and reporting long range anticipated maintenance needs to the Executive Director for value to be paid by a tenant if it is determined to be their responsibility and collect the amount charged. You will have the opportunity to meet with new tenants to gather as much background information as possible as well as inform them of the program and their responsibilities. Additional responsibilities include:Maintaining up to dates recordsSupervising the daily operation of the rental officeHandling telephone calls from the publicSubmitting detailed and accurate monthly reportsScheduling and completing annual housekeeping inspections on each unitEnforcing lease agreements with tenantsFiling documents with local municipal offices for needed permitsMeeting with and encouraging an active Residents CouncilWork Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employmentWork hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.Salary:

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Two (2) years as a Management Aide;
orOne (1) year as an Assistant Property Manager or Assistant Section 8 Coordinator;
or
Three (3)years experience in supervising or performing tasks associated with the management of multi-family residential subsidized or affordable housing communities, property owned, or programs administered by a public housing authority or comparable (low-income) property management agency.Other Requirements:
