Chenega Services & Federal Solutions, LLC, a Chenega Professional Services ’ company, is looking for a Artificial Intelligence Analyst to join our team of IT experts at the Federal Housing Finance Agency's (FHFA) Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). The successful candidate will lead and mentor a team of AI engineers and data scientists, designing and developing complex AI models and systems that meet business objectives and user needs. Responsibilities

AI Model Development: Architect and develop complex AI models and systems, including machine learning algorithms, neural networks, and deep learning frameworks that meet business objectives and user needs.

Project Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of AI engineers and data scientists, providing guidance on technical challenges and career development. Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and ensure that projects align with strategic goals and requirements.

Technology Evaluation: Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in AI and machine learning. Evaluate and implement new technologies and methodologies to enhance AI capabilities and performance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, software engineers, and data scientists, to define requirements and ensure seamless integration of AI systems.

Communication: Communicate complex technical concepts and findings to non-technical stakeholders clearly and effectively.

Data Pipeline Design: Design and implement robust data pipelines for collecting, processing, and analyzing large datasets. Ensure data quality and integrity, and address data-related challenges in AI model development.

Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute rigorous testing protocols to validate AI models and ensure they meet quality standards.

Ethics and Compliance: Address ethical implications of AI technologies, including fairness, transparency, and privacy concerns. Ensure that AI systems adhere to relevant legal and regulatory requirements.

Documentation and Reporting: Document AI development processes, methodologies, and model performance. Prepare and present detailed reports and presentations on AI projects and research findings.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field (Advanced degree preferred)

8+ years of experience in AI-related fields, including machine learning, deep learning, neural networks, or computer vision

Proven expertise in developing and deploying complex AI models and systems that meet business objectives and user needs

Strong understanding of data science principles, including data quality, preprocessing, feature engineering, and model selection

Experience leading and mentoring a team of AI engineers and data scientists

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with AI-related tools and technologies, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras

Familiarity with data visualization libraries (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and business intelligence platforms (e.g., QlikView)

Knowledge of IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL)

Experience working in a regulatory environment, including compliance with federal laws and regulations

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Excellent problem-solving skills, with ability to pivot from a given plan when necessary

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and execute on a day to day basis, and employ a hands on approach.
