(Class B CDL Driver) ; starts in early August. Training provided.
HOURLY RATE RANGE:

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Performs Pre/Post trip inspections on school busDrives Morning and afternoon RouteCleans buses as neededKeeps inspection and driver logsKnowledge of School safety policies and proceduresUses positive verbal and non-verbal skills when working with school personnel and community members at all timesRespond to emergenciesOther duties and responsibilities as assigned
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Bus driver hours may vary on student instructional days per student calendar. Additional hours available at times for field trips, activity trips (sports, band, clubs), etc.All employee agreements for new hire personnel shall be subject to the approval of the Board of Education. Direct deposit is a condition of employment.No smoking is allowed in any Weld County School District Re 8 buildings.Selected applicant must comply with the District's Drug-Free Workplace policy, DOT physical and drug screeningAs required by the Immigration Reform and Control Act (IRCA), the selected applicant must verify, within 72 hoursof employment, his/her legal right to be employed in the United States.
