The ideal candidate will possess a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.ResponsibilitiesAssist the supervising neurosurgeon in the ORConduct physical exams, pre-operative and post-operative patient assessments, order and interpret tests, prescribe medicationsManage patient care in inpatient, outpatient, and clinic settingEvaluate patient problems in person or via phone and provide appropriate intervention or referralCounsel patients and their families on preventive health carePlan treatment and document information using eClinicalWorks (eCW) EMRMaintain accurate patient records and ensure efficient data management using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systemsResponsible for coding and compliance regarding charges generatedCollaborate with the neurosurgeon to develop and implement patient care plans.QualificationsTexas licensed & Board-Certified Physician AssistantGraduate of accredited Physician Assistant programThe PA will be currently licensed to practice as a physician assistant in the State of Texas and maintain such license in good standing at all timesThe PA will report to the physician and will be responsible for meeting CME requirements to maintain certification and licensure.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and medical staffAbility to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracyBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceMedical Specialty:NeurosurgerySurgeryWork Location: In person
