Job Description:
Join us as a Class B Assembler and become an essential part of our team, where you'll test mechanical components with precision and efficiency. As an Assembly Class B Technician, your focus will be on ensuring high-quality production through the assembly and testing of various components.
Key Responsibilities:
Assembly Tasks:
Assemble and fit parts using portable grinders, hand tools, and power tools.
Component Installation:
Install moving parts such as shafts and bearings, bend and install pipes, and align gears in gearboxes.
Equipment Operation:
Operate tube-rolling equipment, conduct hydro testing, and prepare final assemblies for shipment or storage.
Manual Handling:
Position parts manually or using overhead cranes and clean/prep tubes for welding.
Workplace Organization:
Maintain a clean and organized work environment using 5S methodology.
Team Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure the functionality of tools and equipment.
Skills Required:
Experience:
Prior experience in assembly preferred, but not required; we welcome candidates with little to no experience.
Multitasking:
Ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Teamwork:
Strong teamwork skills and respect for the public, customers, vendors, and colleagues.
Adaptability:
Ability to work cooperatively, interchange roles within the department, and maintain cleanliness and functionality standards.
