The Division of Thoracic Surgery in the Department of Surgery at the Houston Methodist Hospital in Houston, TX is seeking a candidate to join the academic practice. Ideal candidate should have experience in the robot assisted treatment of thoracic surgical disease including benign and malignant disease of esophagus, foregut, lung, mediastinum, pleura, chest wall, trachea, and diaphragm. The successful candidate would have experience in robot-assisted lobectomy and robot assisted esophagectomy. Finally, the candidate should have research interests in developing new knowledge associated with treatment of thoracic disease, as well as an interest in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. Candidate must be board eligible or certified in thoracic surgery.
