Job Description
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible to participate in the safe assembly, build, repair, and/or test a variety of new and older mobile oilfield service equipment using standard and/or non-standard tools, equipment, and procedures. Using considerable judgment to ensure quality, correct parts, and/or proper procedures are usedRead equipment assembly specifications, such as charts, schematics, blueprints, and typed instructions and details and communicate any questions or discrepancy back to Crew Chief.Brings technical problems encountered to the Crew Chief's attention for resolution throughout the projectOperate rigging equipment, forklifts & other machineryAssemble mechanical components and perform basic mechanical tasksParticipate in regular shop/yard organization and cleanliness exercisesTrain new employees in assembly operations as requiredComplete and maintain various records and documentationDemonstrate the capability to work independently or in a team on complex and multiple projects requiring judgment to resolve problemsFamiliarize yourself with operation controls such as safe working practices and job hazard analysis as appropriate to specific work tasksResponsible to follow all applicable company and corporate policies, guiding principles, procedures and programs; including but not limited to the process map, support processes, health, safety and environmental requirementsResponsible to supply your own tools; a minimum recommendation list is available. The company will lend some atypical tools for temporary use. Further information is available.All other duties as assignedSKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
High School Diploma or GED requiredMust demonstrate aptitude in mechanical and/or hydraulic assembly, troubleshooting, and repair; diesel mechanics; pump and/or valve assembly, disassembly, or repair; and/or oilfield experience in maintenance and repair of Hydra Rig or related systemsAbility to work with a diverse group of employees and departmentsApplicant may have 1-5+ years' experience or demonstrate competency in related fieldMust be legal to work in the United StatesPerforms more complex duties requiring some skills and judgmentMakes some decisions independently and works under general supervisionKnowledge and problem-solving skills being developedGenerally, may have 3-5 years' experienceCompetitive Benefits
