SumBridge is hiring a Senior Accountant to join our manufacturing client based in Puyallup, WA. The Senior Accountant role is permanent, works with a very collaborative team, offers excellent benefits, and ability to grow. This role is onsite with scheduling flexibility. Base compensation for the role is between $85-95k annually.Job Responsibilities
Prepare assigned journal entries and balance sheet reconciliationsCompletes monthly accounting close efforts, process and calculation of transactions, and prepare auditable account reconciliationsAssist with analyzing financial statements on a monthly basis and report on variancesCompile audit PBC requests and selections for testingCreate and monitor a system of controls, procedures, and forms for the recording of fixed assets.Assists with long-term accounting projects, upgrades and/or process enhancementsAssists Finance Director with development and execution of monthly, quarterly and annual financial plans for corporate manufacturing facility and distribution centers that are geographically dispersedPerform other accounting duties as assignedJob Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required5+ years of relevant accounting experience showing progressing level of responsibility and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Consolidation experienceFixed asset management including depreciationStrong Excel skills with at least 3 years’ experience with Microsoft Office preferredProficient in ERP/Accounting software (Tier One providers preferred like Oracle, SAP, Netsuite, Dynamics), data import and export and Microsoft Office.Experience within a manufacturing company is strongly preferred.Experience working within a team environment where communication is prioritized and collaboration is welcome.
