Job Description
The Sr. CI Manager will work closely with plant and operations leadership to develop and execute lean strategies that build continuous improvement mindset and drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance. This role is a hands-on change agent and will facilitate kaizen events, deliver training, and coach and mentor associates at all levels of the organization.
This role is remote with up to 75% travel.
ResponsibilitiesChampion the MasterBrand Way Continuous Improvement strategy and provide hands-on support across plantsDeploy sustainable standard leadership and lean tools throughout organization, including Daily Management, Standard Work, Leadership Standard Work, Value Stream Mapping, Transactional Process Improvement, Visual Management and A3 thinkingUse Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, and other similar techniques to identify process improvement and eliminate waste within the organization to achieve significant gainsImplement best practices that adhere to the principles of lean manufacturing.Assist and mentor plant management and Continuous Improvement teams with planning and facilitation of strategic plans, kaizen workshops, and other lean activitiesChampion safety through demonstrated commitment, site specific safety plans and targeted MBCI initiativesIdentify and implement new technology, equipment, systems, and/or process improvements that enhance MBCI's manufacturing platform and drive maximum return on investmentWork with organizational Leaders to build Kaizen funnel and opportunities for improvementProvide ongoing education to the organization in the areas of Continuous Improvement.Qualifications
BS in Engineering, Business or a related required; advanced degree or professional manufacturing certification(s) preferred7+ years leadership experience in a manufacturing organizationStrong track record for transforming organizations - building the team, managing change, streamlining processes and driving safety, quality, delivery and cost improvementsDemonstrated highly developed problem solving and project management skillsExperience with facilitation and coaching change management principles and demonstrated ability to drive and manage the change processExperience with lean manufacturing experience as demonstrated by project ownership or previous CI roles.Ability to travel up to 75%
