We hire the best and the brightest from across the country constructing a team of experts in architecture, design, engineering, project management, and business services.A DAY IN THE LIFE:Research and collect site specific information to initiate the land development processDesign and draft land development concept plans for various commercial construction projects (such as multifamily residential, life sciences, advanced manufacturing, and industrial)Perform site investigative due diligence and work with contracting team to value engineer sitesPrepare schematic site and grading & utility plans to illustrate site developability based on site constraintsPerform storm water detention analysis, site utility design, and earth work analysis to best inform site planning effort for cost and constructabilityAct as a subject matter expert for project managers and junior associates and train team on best practicesMeet with customers to review concept plans, discuss advantages to multiple approaches, and work to define direction of project with Design/Build contracting teamDevelop and manage relationships with external surveying, due diligence, and landscape architecture consultantsNECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering5+ years of hands-on land development experience in an Engineering FirmPE certification or ability to obtain in 6 months
Experience with light industrial construction preferredComputer skills: proficiency using AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Project
