About The Role:
The Electrical Engineer is responsible for the layout, design, and integration of electrical systems into drawings of custom power and control products for manufacture.
A Day In The Life:
Responsible for Electrical design deliverables on a variety of projects and solutions such as one-line diagrams, control schematics, submittal packages, bill of materials, etc.Confirm accuracy of project materials quoted to customers, including the review of vendor bid packages and submittals for technical accuracyPerform branch circuits and feeder calculations on power distribution equipment, as well as specifying and sizings componentsEvaluate existing manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvementWork with the Production, Procurement, Project Management and Sales teams on continuous improvement opportunitiesYou Will Thrive In This Role If:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related Engineering discipline with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing, construction, or project environmentSolid knowledge of the NEC (National Electrical Code)Solid knowledge of the design, building and maintenance of low voltage (600 volts and below) power distribution systemsSolid knowledge to perform load calculations on machine and control panels per NEC and UL 508ASolid knowledge of Office based software systemsSolid knowledge of computer-aided design (ACADE) and to design and document electrical schematics and power distribution systemsExperience preferred with QA/QC, Factory Acceptance Testing and documentationSolid knowledge of the principles of machine engineering and the building of production and other equipmentExperience with programmable devices in the area of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), motion-control, human-machine interfaces and instrumentationSolid skills in developing and maintaining effective work relationships with production personnel, electrical technicians, and control panel buildersSolid skills working with, and knowledge of the use of all electrical test equipmentAbility to read, understand and interpret schematics, and mechanical diagramsAbility to inspect the quality of work performed for flaws and mistakesAbility to work in a self-directed manner on several projects at the same timeThis position is designated a safety sensitive position and/or is located in a safety sensitive facility. Compensation Range:
Compensation will be paid in the range of $140,000-180,000. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Salary to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
