We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer specializing in Power Electronics Hardware and/or Control Design. The role involves designing and testing various power electronic converter topologies and control systems, with a focus on SiC-based technologies. This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in a highly innovative and supportive environment.Salary: $110,000-$140,000 with bonus potentialRelocation and/or travel required: NoKey ResponsibilitiesDesign and test power electronic converter topologies, including active rectifiers, isolated DC-DC converters, solid-state transformers, and high-speed motor drives.Develop and implement DSP-based digital control algorithms, FPGA modulators, and high-level system controllers.Create detailed PCB designs, including SiC gate drivers, control PCBs, and supporting hardware.Design and test low and medium-voltage SiC semiconductor modules.Develop embedded control algorithms, harmonic compensators, software PLLs, and other embedded systems.Create Controller-Hardware-in-the-Loop test setups, control cards, and control algorithms.Collaborate on medium voltage power distribution and printed circuit board design projects.Minimum RequirementsCitizenship: U.S. Citizenship is required due to ITAR program restrictions.Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with a minimum GPA of 3.3.
