Occupational Therapist
at Munson Healthcare seeks to maximize a patient's functional independence and safety in the home environment. The occupational therapist is required to complete a thorough assessment for each patient relating to their functional status, activities of daily living, coordination, home assessment and other needs as determined by their medical condition.
An individualized plan of care is developed and revised for each patient as appropriate to their rehabilitative needs. Teaching compensatory strategies, caregiver training, implementing adaptive equipment and utilizing sensory integration techniques are a few of the methods regularly utilized by the occupational therapist to support patients in meeting their goals.
The occupational therapist actively collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to improve the lives of our patients, families and their communities.

Experience/Education
Bachelors degree from an Occupational Therapy program accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association and the American Medical Association.Current registration by the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board or eligibility for immediate registration, as well as current registration with the State of Michigan.One year of clinical experience required, home health care experience preferred.Possess current Michigan motor vehicle license, ability to drive a car, and insured vehicle capable of transport to patient homes or other offices under various weather conditions.The Benefits of Working at Munson:
