ECU Health Edgecombe Hospital is a full-service, 117-bed acute care facility where residents of Tarboro and the surrounding communities can receive a wide range of health services close to home. As part of the ECU Health system of care, the hospital offers high quality care provided by more than 20 medical specialists, rehabilitation services, a birthing center, a cancer center, outpatient clinics and more.
Position Summary
The Physical Therapist (PT) provides direct patient care by evaluation and treatment in patient population served according to age and condition. As an PT, you will actively seek to improve knowledge and skills of self and others, provide appropriate leadership, and meet competency requirements. Will also be involved in team dynamics and participate in interdisciplinary activities when appropriate.
Minimum RequirementsGraduation with Bachelors, Masters, or Doctoral Degree from an APTA Accredited school of Physical TherapyCurrent valid license or eligible for licensure for Physical Therapy by The North Carolina Board of Physical Therapy ExaminersLess than three years of licensureOther Information
40 hours a weekMonday - Friday (8 am - 4:30 pm)Primarily Outpatient Care but will float to Acute Care, as neededRequired to work rotational Saturday and On-Call (Saturday & Sunday)Career Level OpportunitiesGreat Benefits
Primarily Oupatient with float to acute as needed.
