What this job involves:Perform month-end and year-end close activities, from balance sheet and cash account reconciliations to financial statement preparationPrepare monthly financial package and submit timely to the Finance & Accounting Manager, for review and approval in order to finalize reporting within the proper time frame for reviewPrepare timely and accurate monthly property financial statements for a 2 to 3 property portfolio by deadlines established within Client Accounting Services and by external Client. Prepare additional schedules, which are required to support account balances or are specifically required by ownersSubmit financial statements and work papers in reviewable form (including documentation) and within the proper time frame for reviewEnsure that all bank statements are reconciled on a timely basis and follow-up on all outstanding checks and reconciling items monthlyPerform reconciliation and true-up of funding vs. actual expendituresPrepare and properly document journal entriesPrepare and track accruals and accrual entriesResponsible for cash management of assigned propertiesAssist with Budgets and Forecasts as neededSupport team's efforts to develop efficient reporting strategies including automation and simplification of reporting processes while preserving data integrityOrganize and maintain team data collection, reporting and communicationSupport cost-savings and process improvement initiativesParticipate in the development and distribution of best practices, process documentation, and user support materials for reportingEnsure compliance with both JLL Internal Audit and Client Accounting Services SAS 70 internal review standards.Support and implement "Best in Class" reportingComplete and support regular and ad-hoc reporting including informal and formal internal and documents, reports, graphs, charts and presentations

To apply you need to have:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceUp to 3-5 years relevant experienceAdvanced MS Excel skillsDemonstrated financial competency at a detailed level of operationAbility to collaborate across many levels of an organizationHigh level of attention to detail and accuracy and ability to make effective decisions and solve problemsStrong organization, analytical, and coordination skillsAdvanced oral and written communication skillsExcellent level of customer service skillFlexible and adaptable to tasks assignedExcellent interpersonal skills / interpersonal sensitivity
