The Logistics Operations Specialist oversees all aspects of receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. They are responsible for scheduling and assigning tasks to warehouse employees and monitoring their performance. Inventory management is a key responsibility, involving physical counts and data reconciliation. The Logistics Operations Specialist oversees customer and trucking company coordination for inbound and outbound schedules, as well as managing the processes for goods consolidation and deconsolidation. ResponsibilitiesReceive work assignments from the supervisor on a daily basisUpdate systems with received freight, order processing, and shipmentsProcess orders that are received from customers on a daily basisCheck shipments for accuracy and providing reports of shipment resultsWork efficiently by managing daily orders and delegating work between warehouse temporary employeesCoordinate with co-workers and warehouse temporary staff for customer accounts and warehouse operationsReport orders that are shipped out to customers on a daily basisEnsure that all daily housekeeping duties are completed dailyPreferred Qualifications
