Director of Nursing position in Federal Way, WA
Knightcare Management is searching for a Director of Nursing (DON / DNS) in the greater Federal Way, WA area. This position is with a very reputable Skilled Nursing facility, that prioritizes an outstanding resident experience. The Director of Nursing needs to possess the leadership ability to manage the Skilled Nursing department, while ensuring that the best possible care and services are provided for the residents. Key responsibilities include leading, mentoring, and providing oversight for the care team, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures, as well as State and Federal regulations. Must have a demonstrated history of excellent survey results, good tenure, a hospitality mindset, as well as a customer service focused approach to care. Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of WA with at least 3 years of experience working in Skilled Nursing as a DON, ADON, MDS, RCM, Supervisor or Unit Manager.
Required experience: 3 years as a supervisor or manager in a Post-Acute / Skilled Nursing setting strongly preferred.
Required education, license or certification: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Registered Nurse for the State of WA required.
