GENERAL STATEMENT:
This position performs independent work assisting management in the handling and coordination of administrative functions in the Division of Law Enforcement.
Serves as the Regional Property Custodian. Manage / track all property in the region, assists regional personnel with property, inventory, and yearly scanning. These functions include but are not limited to the issuance, completion, review, return of property. Entry/maintenance of records involving property, tag & fuel card requests, property transfer form, surplus 6401 form and other related matters. Evaluate, identify, and prioritize effective means of maintaining accurate lists of in-service equipment, surplus processes, trade-ins and all matters of equipment accountability.
Maintains / distributes SFWMD keys. Drafts various regional correspondence. Drafts and processes award nominations.
This position is responsible for ordering body armor and body cameras for regional personnel. Also assists with regional bulk orders (purchase order request, quotes, bills, etc.).
Work with FWC Divisions and offices to encourage agency participation a-crossed division lines to include outreach opportunities.
Attend staff meetings, complete and submit required reports, participate in professional development courses. Assure files and documentation are complete, accurate, and confidentially is maintained.
Act as the regional back-up for travel authorizations and reimbursements and well as the GOC 2. Provides back up and assists other administrative team members as assigned.
