Responsibilities Assembler II-Cleanroom Position Summary Responsible for any assembly and packaging of components into products for the medical industry. They will also perform cleaning and passivation and label generation and inspection, along with assembly and packaging of components into products for the medical industry. This position requires cleanroom experienced and will be based out of our facility located in west Bloomington, Minnesota (55438). Assembler II Duties and Responsibilities

Inspect, assemble, and package medical devices and componentsCleanroom experienced requiredUse tray, band, and impulse sealersPerform various types of testing on device packagingResponsible for proper documentation necessary to complete jobPerform material transactions in ERP systemWork with chemicals (Isopropyl Alcohol, solvents, detergents, etc.) as needed to clean work area and componentsAssist in weekly cleaning of production areas and common spacesEnsure products are handled and assembled per QTS Quality Systems ProceduresMove materials to and from the production areas including verification of Part/Lot/QuantityAdhere to cGMP and ISO regulationsMaintain awareness of workplace safety and relevant trainingHandle chemicals and equipment per QTS proceduresGenerate and inspect labels per the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for label generationParticipate in the Operational Excellence ProgramOther duties as assigned

Qualifications Assembler II Requirements/Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

English language (reading comprehension, listening, and writing)

Attention to detail

Good hand-eye coordination

Able to work in a cleanroom environment, including working with chemicals as needed to clean work areas and components (Isopropyl Alcohol, solvents, detergents, etc.)

Proficient in math skills required to complete all manufacturing procedures

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Methodologies

Basic computer skills and Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)

Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills

Organizational skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment

Able to sit and stand for long periods of time

At least 6 months of the following experience:

Assembly, manufacturing, and cleanroom experienceOperation of tray, band, and impulse sealersKnowledge or training pertaining to FDA, cGMP, and ISO regulationsKnowledge or training pertaining to workplace safety and OSHA regulationsAble to accurately measure chemicals/solvents and adjust concentrations as neededStoring, handling, and cleaning up hazardous materialsGrand Avenue Software (GAS)

**Assembler II Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**

Able to work overtime as needed (staying later during the week days or at least one weekend day)Cleaning & Passivation ExperienceCleanroom practices, including gowningAt least 6 months of labeling systems experience
