Job Summary
We are seeking a counter associate to join the team at our high volume restaurant! As a counter associate, you are the forefront of customer service, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our new and existing guests. Your role involves handling orders, managing transactions, and providing excellent service in a fast paced environment. If you’re friendly, hard-working, and interested in getting your foot in the door in the hospitality industry, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers in placing orders, providing menu information, and offer recommendations
Communicate food orders to the kitchen staff
Process orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing our point of sale system
Maintain a clean and organized counter area, ensuring a visually appealing and welcoming environment
Wipe down tables, chairs, and other surfaces
Adhere to all health and safety rules and regulations
Assist in occasional tasks, such as restocking supplies, cleaning, and supporting team members as needed
Qualifications:
Experience as a busser, barback, food runner, counter associate, or similar position is preferred
Familiarity with food safety guidelines
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds
Friendly and outgoing personality
Availability to work evening and weekend shifts
